California Volunteer Theater is presenting its second production, Romeo and Juliet, starting in February of 2026. (This is not a California Stage production, but it will be presented at our facility.)
It will be the first production of Romeo and Juliet staged with the original music from Shakespeare’s production in at least 300 years, and will be a full, Renaissance costumed production.

Romeo and Juliet will run February 6 – March 8, 2026, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 and Sundays at 2:00.
It will be presented on the main stage at California Stage (2509 R Street, Sacramento, CA).
